Abstract

abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the application of the inquiry model in geography
learning on student learning outcomes of class X MA Al-Mustaqim, Kubu Raya

Regency. The research method used was experimental in the form of a quasi-
experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The technique of using

data uses measurement techniques, namely to measure the learning outcomes obtained
by students after carrying out learning activities carried out in the experimental class
and the control class. The data collected in this study is quantitative data in the form of
the average value of student learning outcomes obtained from the posttest results. Based
on the results of the calculation of the average test results in the experimental class of
77,875. While the average test result in the control class is 73,375. Based on the results
of calculations obtained using the effect size formula, the average results of the
experimental class students 'learning outcomes and the control class students' average
learning outcomes then dividing by the control class standard deviation shows the
results of 0.81 so that they can be classified into the high category where interval> 0.7
is categorized as high level. So, it can be revealed that there is an influence in the
material that is the dynamics of the lithosphere and its impact on humans on the
learning outcomes of class X IPS MA Al-Mustaqim Kubu Raya.
