ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA PADA MATERI SPLTV DIKAJI BERDASARKAN TINGKAT MOTIVASI BELAJAR

Abstract
This study aims to determine the students' ability to solve story questions on
the SPLTV material studied based on the level of learning motivation in class
XI SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The method used is a descriptive method with a
case study research form. The subjects in this study were students of class XI
MIPA 6 with a total of thirty-seven students to be given a learning motivation
questionnaire which was then categorized based on the level of high, medium
and low learning motivation. The results of categorizing the level of student
learning motivation were 7 high category students, 24 medium category
students, and 6 low category students. Based on the results of the
questionnaire category, 6 students were selected with two students each from
each level of learning motivation to be given a test of the ability to solve story
questions. The results of the test of the ability to solve story questions showed
that the students' ability to solve story questions with a high level of
motivation was not better than the students' ability to solve story questions
with a moderate level of motivation, this was caused by students'
misconceptions, weak representation and weak student connections.
