The research objective was to describe the change in the Amaliyah Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah into Public Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Sekadau Regency. Data analysis used interactive data analysis model of Miles Huberman. Test the validity of the data using four criteria, namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability testsThe results of the study (1) The process of changing the Amaliyah Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah into Public Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Sekadau district is as follows; Initial conditions the existence of a madrasah enforcement program began with the Ministry of Religion's program, followed by the madrasah submitting proposals, a process of change and the process of determining status was terminated. proceed to the Provincial Ministry of Religion and to the Directorate of Education. The status change stage includes the Director General of madrasah education carrying out verification to the relevant madrasah, then issuing a decree on changing the status of the madrasah. The stage of determining the status of madrasah carried out the Launching of enforcement (2) There are 2 factors that influence the change of private namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factor is that madrasas have met the criteria for the criteria with sufficient numbers of students and teaching staff and the foundation also provides full support, then there is full support from relevant agencies, namely the Ministry of Religion, support from parents of students and support from the surrounding community. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor requires a long time for approval from the foundation.
