Abstract
The teaching and learning process between teachers and students is a very important element. Educators are required to be able to carry out a quality learning process with various approaches, methods, and learning models. In learning Indonesian in class III MIS Bawari Pontianak, students are less active, causing learning outcomes to be low. This study was conducted to determine how much influence the type of picture and picture cooperative learning models have on Indonesian learning outcomes in class III MIS Bawari Pontianak. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were 50 students in grade III of Mis Bawari Pontianak Elementary School. The research instrument consisted of a test sheet. The results of the parametric statistical test showed that there was an effect of the Picture and Picture model on the results of Indonesian Language in class III MIS Bawari Pontianak. While the results of calculations using the effect size formula were obtained ES = 0.57. The criteria for the size of the effect size are in the medium category, which is in the range of 0.2 <ES <0.8. So, it can be concluded that learning with the Picture and Picture model
gives an influence in the medium category to the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language in class III MIS Bawari Pontianak.
