Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to find out the perception of the relevance, diversity, completeness,
completeness, benefits, quality and quantity of reference collections and textbooks in
the Polytechnic Library of Pontianak State. This research uses descriptive quantitative
methods with quantitative approaches. Research data collection techniques are
observations, questionnaires and literature studies. The data analysis techniques in
this study use statistical descriptions. The population in this study was an active
member of the Pontianak State Polytechnic library of 1,300 people. The sample in the
study was 93 randomly selected people. The validity test of 10 questions is declared
valid and the manifestability test is declared to be realibel with a value of Cronbach's
Alpha (0.945) greater than the constant (0.6). The results showed that the perception
of relevance or conformity, diversity, completeness and recent collection of references
and textbooks was good with a percentage (72%) states appropriate, diverse,
complete and up-to-date, the benefits of reference collections and textbooks are
excellent by percentage (100%) states very useful, the quality and quantity of
reference collections and textbooks is good by percentage (87%) states well.
