This thesis entitled "Career Planning Consultants for Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Siantan". The general problem in this study is "How Do Students Who Have Difficulty Career Planning Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Siantan". As for the sub problems 1) What are the difficulties experienced by students in career planning in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Siantan? 2) What are the factors that cause students to experience difficulties in career planning in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Siantan? This study aims to obtain an objective description and information regarding the difficulties of career planning in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Siantan. The approach used in this research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The form of research used is Survey Studies. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the difficulties experienced by students in career planning were (1) lack of self-understanding (2) lack of information on career planning. The factors that cause students to experience difficulties in career planning are internal factors, namely not sure of their own abilities and external factors, namely being easily influenced by friends. .
