Abstract

Abstract

This research describes the evaluation of the implementation of the Character Healthy
School program in the components of context, input, and product at 1

st Junior High
School Pontianak. This research uses the CIPP model of evaluation research with a

qualitative approach type. Participants of this research include the school principal, vice-
principal for academic affairs, teachers, school administration staff, UKS Management,

students, and school committee member totaling 8 people, consists of 2 males and 6
females aged 15 to 57 years old determined using the snowball sampling method. The
data collection methods used interview, observation, and document study materials, also
the main instrument was the researcher herself. Data was collected and analyzed using
Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The main findings are 3 laws and regulations,
formulation of vision and mission, human resources, money, materials, methods, markets,
and minutes are well managed, character cultivation through online and offline media
(limited face to face), as well as the implementation of Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat
(PHBS) and character building in students. In conclusion, evaluation of context
component criteria has been met, resource input component been managed and has good
quality, the process component has been running well, and the PHBS product component
and character planting have been carried out well. Implication of this program is doing
3M (memakai masker, mencuci tangan, dan menjaga jarak), as well as getting used to
throwing garbage in its place.
