Abstract
This study aims to describe the teacher's role in developing children's social and emotional face-to-face at home. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative case study type with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Source of data for class teachers and B2 class assistant teachers. The general problem in this study is to describe the teacher's role in developing face-to-face children's social emotions at home. The results showed (a) the teacher's role as teacher educator gave examples of good behavior, with habits such as respecting others, reading prayers before starting learning activities before eating and praying to go home from school and speak. politely (say please, sorry, and thank you). (b) The role of the teacher as a facilitator, the teacher facilitates children's learning through media, textbooks and stationery (c) The role of the teacher as a motivator, the vb teacher approaches and gives encouragement to children who are not enthusiastic in learning, here the teacher gives good advice to children so that can be active again in learning, the teacher also gives encouragement, applauds the praise of "thumb children" and tells children during learning, if the task is completed well then a great sticker is given in the book.
