Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship of parents' income with children's education
financing in Nanga Sepauk village, Sintang Regency. The method used in this study is to
use descriptive methods with quantitative research forms. The data source in this study is
parents who have school-age children in Nanga Sepauk village in Sintang Regency. The
data collection techniques are indirect communication techniques and documentary
studies. Data collection tools are questionnaires and documentation. Data processing
techniques using coeration produc moment and SPSS program Version 22. The result of
the calculation of communeration produc moment obtained a value of 0.673. Test t
obtained tcount = 6,809 and ttable 2,003 which means significant ( tcalculate > ttable), then
obtained a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a positive and significant
relationship. Obtained from the results there is a relationship between the income of
parents and the financing of children's education of 0.673 as well as the contribution of
parental income influence of 0.453 or 45.3% with the financing of children's education. So
there is a relationship between the income of parents and the financing of children's
education in Nanga Sepauk Village, Sintang Regency.
