Abstract

Abstract

Virtual learning is an internet-based learning process, in a digital aspect. Teachers and students in learning do not meet face to face. The purpose of this research is to describe students responses to the virtual learning model in the art of music. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources of this research were students of class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak, totaling 32 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were interview, quetionnaires through the google form application, and documentation. Based on the results of research on student responses to the virtual learning model in the art of music subject in class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak, that virtual learning in music did not going well, because of unsupported facilities, difficulty operating virtual learning applications, and difficulty in getting a network or signal because the area is not reachable and the problem of power outages so that it will interfere with the learning process. Therefore, the efforts of teachers and the government to find the best solution in this problem. It is inseparable from the enthusiasm of learning from the students themselves.
