Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the understanding of teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating contextual learning in TK Primanda Untan Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques and documentation tools, data collection tools, namely interview and documentation guides, technical data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification, testing the validity of data is triangulation. The results showed that the teacher understood the planning, implementation and evaluation of contextual learning, based on the research results the teacher understood the design and arrangement of the lesson plans, understood the material and learning objectives. However, in predicting the consequences of the plans that have been prepared, it has not been maximized. In the implementation of contextual learning the teacher carries out according to the arrangement of learning activities from the opening activities, core activities and finally closing activities. Meanwhile, when evaluating contextual learning, it can be seen from the teacher's explanation on how to carry out the evaluation of contextual learning.
