Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the provision of remedial by teacher in class
X accounting subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The research method used is
descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research is the
accounting teacher of class X and the data is a list of mid-semester test scores for
students of class X Accounting 2 and the results of interviews with accounting teachers
and students of class X Accounting 2. The results showed that after the initial
identification there were two factors that could affect the learning process internal
factors can be in the form of different levels of intelligence and learning motivation of
students while external factors are the family environment of students. In the
implementation of remedial learning the teacher gives back the previous test questions
and assignments to focus the unfinished grades, remedial implementation is carried out
during class hours. The lesson planning carried out by the teacher is very good. The
teacher prepares materials and questions according to the level of difficulty experienced
by students. Students whose grades have passed the Value Completeness Criteria are
given enrichment questions to deepen the material that has been studied.
