Abstract

This study aims to improve readers' understanding of the hero image in Agustrijanto's Wiracarita Adi Cenik novel. This research is in the form of qualitative with descriptive method. The data source of this research is the novel Wiracarita Adi Cenik Karya Agustrijanto with data in the form of quotations of words, phrases and sentences that lead to the object of analysis. The results showed that 103 data could be obtained. the wise advises, is wise, is wise in making decisions, is wise in helping, is wise. The value obtained is courage in acting and courage in expressing opinions. The implementation plan of learning research results is combined with Indonesian language learning in class XII SMA / equivalent in the 2013 curriculum with KD 3.9 analyzing the content and language of novels and KD 4.9 Designing novels or novels with attention to content and language. Indicator 3.9.1 finds the contents (intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements) in the form of a hero image. 3.9.2 Examining the linguistic elements in the novel. 4.9.1 produces his own novel or novelet based on the design that has been made. 4.9.2 presenting and commenting on the intrinsic elements and language of the novel.
