Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know students"™ responses to the pocket book media on the classification of biotic. The form of this research was descriptive research with survey method. The instrument in this study was the students' response to the pocket book. Students"™ responses to the pocket book media with cognitive, affective, and conative variables. In cognitive variables which consist of five, namely perceptions of the use of sentences in poket books, perceptions of font type, perceptions of material, perceptions of keyword, and perceptions of questions. Perception indicator with an average value of interpretation is 78.23%. affective variables with attitude indicator consist of three, namely pocket book criteria, picture criteria, and overall pocket book criteria with an average value of interpretation is 81.3%, and conative variables with action indicators related to attitude ojects are divided into two, namely desire to try, and tendency towards pocket books, with an average value of interpretation is 79.76%. Students"™ responses to the pocket book media with a strong interpretation category with an average total was 79.76%.
