Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Nosu Minu Podi Traditional Tradition (Gawai Spirit of Rice) in the Pangkodant Dayak Ethnicity in Lape Village, Kapuas District, Sanggau Regency. This research use ethnographic qualitative research methods. The analysis of data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research showing; (a). The traditional tradition of Nosu Minu Podi in Dusun Lape has undergone a shift due to the modernization of life and technological advances which have gradually shifted the traditional and cultural traditions of the community; (b). The implementation of the Nosu Minu Podi tradition is still carried out in the form of rituals and traditional gadget parties; (c). Efforts to preserve the traditional Nosu Minu Podi tradition carried out by the Lape Hamlet community by wanting to bring back the procedures for implementing the long abandoned Nosu Minu custom.
