Abstract

This research is motivated by the interest in the traditions of the Dayak Hibutn community, namely traditional medicine and the Dayak Hibutn language which must be maintained intact. The problem of this research is the inventory, form, meaning and implementation of the ethnomedicine lexicon of the Dayak Hibutn in Indonesian language learning in schools. This study uses a descriptive method in a qualitative form. The data collection techniques were face-to-face techniques, interviews, listening, record and note, and documentation. This research resulted in 197 ethnomedicine lexicines in Dayak Hibutn, namely 68 lexicons based on the name of the disease, 107 lexicons of medicinal ingredients, 8 of them, and 14 presentation and treatment processes. The ethnomedicine lexicon of the Dayak Hibutn language is monomorphemic totaling 87 lexicons, polymorphemic totaling 15 lexicons, and phrases totaling 95 lexicons. The meaning of the Dayak Hibutn ethnomedicine lexicons is based on the lexical meanings totaling 87 lexicons, grammatically 110 lexicons, and cultural lexicons totaling 15. The form of the Indonesian language learning text based on the ethnomedicine lexicon of the Dayak Hibutn language is a descriptive text.
