Abstract

Abstract

The study aims to determine the feasibility of documentary film media on the submaterial of biodiversity benefits for class X high school. Documentary films were films which made based on the reality in the field. This documentary film was made using video recordings and photos of data collection on the use of plants as medicine obtained from research on ethnobotany studies of medicinal plants by the community in Tanjung Bunga Village, Kembayan District, Sanggau Regency using Adobe Premiere Pro software. After being made, the documentary was validated by six validators which consist of three media experts and three learning material experts and then analyzed according to RTVtk analysis. The average validation result of three material experts and three media experts was 3.45. and 3.72 with valid category. It can be concluded that the documentary film media that has been made is suitable to use in learning the submaterial of biodiversity benefits for class X high school.
