Abstract

This study aims (1) to examine economic resistance carried out by families during the
covid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency (2) to
assess family food security during the covid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung
District, Sambas Regency (3 ) To examine the family's efforts to overcome the financial
crisis during the covid-19 pandemic in Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas
Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research type using a focused interview
approach. The source of data in this study was obtained by in-depth direct interviewswith
informants. The results of this study indicate (1) Economic Resistance that occurs in the
family of Sendoyan Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency, which has a superior
product, namely Lada Batu Layar, does not use products from outside and prefers to use
its own products for consumption. ; (2) Food Security carried out by families in Sendoyan
Village, Sejangkung sub-district, by participating in developing and marketing superior
products through socialization activities on face book media, Instagram, exhibitions, expos
in various regions; (3) Family Efforts to Overcome the Financial Crisis in Sendoyan
Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency, through increasing the value of pepper
production from seed to powder form so that income increases and prices can be increased.
