Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of online learning based on google
classroom in the history subject of class X IPS SMA N 2 Ketapang. This study uses
descriptive qualitative research methods. Sources of data include the deputy head of
curriculum, history teacher, and four students. They collect data using observation,
interviews, and documentation and data analysis techniques using data reduction, data
display, conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study revealed that :
(1) Planning for online history learning using google classroom teacher prepared
syllabus, lesson plans, and teaching materials (2) The process of implementing online
learning using google classroom in history learning the teacher provided teaching
materials in the form of PPT, video links so that students cloud easily understand it and
provide an evaluation to determine student's understanding of the material (3) Barriers
and solutions in using google classroom media as an online learning medium include
interference with the internet network and limited quotas and the solution is that
schools provided free quotas to students so that students can continue to follow learning
online using google classroom.
