Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of attitudes and motivation economic outcomes for students of class X IPS SMAN 1 MEMPAWAH HILIR, MEMPAWAH. The research method used is a quantitative approach, the form of the relationship is a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are indirect communication and documentary studies. The results showed that: 1) attitudes and motivation were not in a condition either partially or simultaneously in class X Social Sciences included in the low category and there was a negative and insignificant relationship between attitudes and motivation on learning. With the magnitude of the regression value or influence Multiple regression test results show that the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.012 or 1.2% very low category. It means that the percentage contribution of the influence of attitudes and motivation on student outcomes is 1.2% of students' economic outcomes while the remaining 98.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. In this study, the influence of motivation student outcomes is categorized as very low.
