Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning using Zoom in learning  mathematics for sixth grade at SDN 37 Pontianak Tenggara. The type of research used  is descriptive research with quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this  study were class VI A and VI B SDN 37 Pontianak Tenggara, the sampling technique  was purposive sampling with 30 students in class VI A, The data collection technique in  this study were observation, questionnaires, and documentation techniques. The data  collection tools used are observation sheets, questionnaires and data from student daily  test. The results showed that the teacher"™s performance in the implementation of online  learning using Zoom was very good with an average of 8.24, percentage of student  activity was classified very passive with an average of 46.39%, students gave a less  positive response to learning with a percentage of 68.38% and student learning  outcomes of 82.61% classically. Learning is said to be effective if it meets the minimum  criteria of these four aspects. Because there are two indicators of effectiveness that are  not achieved, it can be concluded that online learning using Zoom in learning  mathematics is not effectively used in class VI A SDN 37 Pontianak Tenggara.
