Abstract
HR is one of the main capital that is important for the success of an organization, as well as the Head of the Reading Room of FKIP Untani as the leader of the organization. The limited human resources in the FKIP Untani Reading Room must be balanced with skills and a balanced workload so that the routine of reading room activities can run well and smoothly. Information related to workloads can be used as a reference by the library/reading room manager as a benchmark for determining the standard of HR needs, so that all activities in the library can be carried out properly. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The informants used were two people, with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the number of human resources in the reading room does not meet the standards so that it is necessary to add appropriate positions both in terms of quantity and quality so that the desire for an effective and efficient reading room can be fulfilled immediately.
