ANALISIS MELODI SYAIR ASYRAQAL DALAM KESENIAN HADRAH DI KELURAHAN SUNGAI JAWI DALAM KOTA PONTIANAK

Abstract

This research is conducted by a lack of knowledge and public interest in studying the rhythm of Syair Asyraqal.The purpose of this reseacrh is to analyze and describe melody analysis in hadrah art in Sungai Jawi district in Pontianak City.The research method is a qualitative descriptive method using a musicological approach.The daata contained in this study is the result of direct observation and interviews with three sources that is Mr. M. Anwar,H. Dja"™far,Awaludin. The data is analyzed qualitative, Based on data analysis it can be concluded that there are 3 parts in Syair Asyraqal and 5 melodic motifs, namely the gencat section has 1 melodic motif, terusan has 3 melodic motif and marade has 1 melodic motif. In the process of singing, Syair Asyraqal using ornament, microtone, and Arabic language. Lyrics and melody from Syair Asyaraqal already standard. This reseacrh is expected to stimulate the growth of interest in studying vocal music, especially melody Syair Asyraqal in Sungai Jawi district in Pontianak City.
