PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR TEMATIK BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SISWA KELAS V SDN 34 PONTIANAK SELATAN

Abstract
This research was aimed to develop thematic teaching material based on character
education at SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan. The research design used in this research was
a 4D model (Four-D) within four steps such as define, design, develop, and disseminate.
The quantitative data were generated from the product examination by the validator
and the questionnaires about the simplicity of the product by the teacher and students.
The research instrument in this study used interview protocol, questionnaire, and
documentation. The validity of the teaching material was based on the evaluations of
design experts, language experts, also teaching & learning experts. Moreover, the
simplicity of the teaching material was based on the evaluation of teacher and students.
The results from the design expert and teaching & learning expert showed that the
electronic book is "sangat valid" with the average score 4.3, while from the language
expert the score was 4.35 which was also "sangat valid". For the simplicity, the small
group and the large group showed a same score which was 3.52 that represent the
product was very practical, and from the teachers showed that the product got 3.4 score
which also very practical to use.
