This studi aims to describe the meaning of the Amboyo dance in the Naik Dango traditional of the Kanayatn Dayak tribe. There are three interrelatede aspects of the meaning of this dance, namely motion, music and poetry. These three aspects heave meanings related to the purpose of the Naik Dango Traditional Ceremony, as well as public belief in the myth of the origin of rich which is the background for Naik Dango In the Naik Dango Traditional Ceremony which has a relationship between the upper world, the middel world adn the underwold, symbolized through motion, music and poety in the Amboyo dance. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the meaning of a tradition that needs to be preserved.
