Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the traditional game of congklak in the Bruder Singkawang Kindergarten. The research method used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Principal of the Kindergarten and 2 classroom teachers at Bruder Singkawang Kindergarten. The research location is the Bruder Singkawang Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher has not included detailed learning objectives in the RPPH made and has not clearly stated the initial, core, and closing activities. Before using the traditional game of congklak in learning, the teacher must prepare some of the materials used. The Bruder Singkawang Kindergarten chose media made of plastic material to utilize the traditional game of congklak in learning activities. In its utilization, the teacher uses the demonstration method in teaching. In conducting the evaluation, the teacher will carry out an assessment of the children's work which will be analyzed by the teacher himself.
