Abstract

Shuttlecock launcher is one of the examples of a technological development application in badminton. However, in the market, an existing shuttlecock launcher's price is found in a high-value cost. The purpose of this study was to: 1) modifying the existing shuttlecock launcher to make a launcher at an affordable price, 2) studied the acceptabilities of the product to the market. The method applied in this study is the research and development method. This research shows the eligibility based on the evaluation of electronic expert are 92,8% with "really good" categories. Evaluation of the product to media expert is 76,4% with "good" categories. The eligibility evaluation by the badminton expert is 90,1% in the level "really good" categories. Assessment on a small scale as product trial accepted in 83,8% with "really good" categories. Assessment to the product as a big scale trial is 85,2% with "really good" categories. As the conclusion as follow: (1) the launcher is suitable for the user, (2) the launcher supports badminton training, (3) Easily for use, (4)The function of the launcher is to follow the needs of trainers, and (5) The product has an affordable price.
