PERISTILAHAN DALAM AKTIVITAS KERAJINAN TANGAN MENGANYAM PADA MASYARAKAT DAYAK SIMPAKNG HULU: KAJIAN SEMANTIK

Abstract

The purpose of this research described peristilahan, related the terminology, the lexical
meaning, the cultural meaning, and implementation in learning and teaching materials as
text description and the Indonesian language subject class VII 2013 curriculum based on
handicrafts weaving. This research uses the method description with the qualitative
study. The approach that was used in research is to approach semantic. The subject of
study the native speakers language dyaks of Simpakng Hulu aged 35-85 years. Data
collection techniques using, observation, interview and recorded. Data analysis by doing
a transcription, interviews then translated in indonesian language, classified, and
drawing conclusions. The results of the study data obtained some 41 term used in
weaving handicraft activities. The term was divided into three namely the weaving, 21
terms related to seven term used in weaving material, and four terms used in a weaving.
In the formation of the term there are three, form namely monomorfemis, polimorfemis,
and phrases. The implementation of material text learning using peristilahan in an
activity handicrafts weaving applied to text description and text procedure.
