CITRA PEREMPUAN PADA NOVEL HATI SINDEN KARYA DWI RAHYUNINGSIH (KAJIAN FEMINISME MARXIS)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kedudukan tokoh perempuan, bentuk ketidakadilan perempuan, dan usaha perempuan melepaskan belenggu dari patriarki dalam Hati Sinden. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif, dengan pendekatan feminism marxis. Sumber data adalah novel Hati Sinden, sedangkan data berbentuk kata, frasa, dan kalimat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumenter dan alat pengumpulan data adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama. Kedudukan tokoh perempuan meliputi status sosial yang di dalamnya terdapat pendidikan, karier, dan status perempuan. Kedudukan perempuan dalam masyarakat juga meliputi dirinya sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga, sikap rela berkorban, mandiri, dan memiliki harga diri. Bentuk ketimpangan (ketidakadilan) perempuan meliputi pemaksaan perjodohan, tidak memiliki hak memilih dan menikah di usia dini, perbedaan perlakuan terhadap perempuan dan tindakan kontra feminisme yang kebanyakan kekerasan psikis. Usaha melepaskan belenggu dari patriarki meliputi berani mengungkapkan pendapat, dapat mengambil keputusan untuk dirinya, dan tindakan profeminisme.

Abstract: This research has purpose to describe the position of women figure, the forms of injustice against women, the effort by women in releasing the shackles of patriarchy in Hati Sinden. The research used the descriptive method, in qualitative form, with the  Marxist feminism approach. The source of data is Hati Sinden novel, and the data are in form of words, phrases and, sentences. The technique of collecting data used the indirect technique, which were documenter technique and the tool of collecting data was the researcher herself as the main instrument. The position of women figure covers social status in which there is education, careers, and status of women. Position of women in society also includes herself as fulfilling the needs of the family, self-sacrifice, self-contained, and self-esteem. The forms of injustice covers forced arranged marriage, do not have the right to vote and marry at an early age, the difference in treatment of women and feminism contra acts of violence are mostly psychological. Efforts to release the shackles of patriarchy covers the courage to express their opinions, to make decisions for themselves, and acts pro feminism.
