Abstract

The problem that occurs in this research is where he knows about the perceptions ofstudents involved in basketball extracurricular activities in SMA N 2 Pontianak, sothe importance of this research is to see in order to be able to describe the level ofeach student's perception.The method used in this research is quantitative researchwith a survey approach that uses a questionnaire as a tool with percentage dataanalysis.Theresultsoftheresearchthatcanbesubmittedarethatstudents'perceptions of basketball extracurricular activities have a category of knowledge of20%, 15% extracurricular understanding, extragood introduction at the beginningof entry to 35% completion and 35% material, interaction and development meansthat the extra activities take place while being a student. With several indicatorsgiventhroughtheansweredquestionsthatgoodperceptionsofbasketballextrac urricular activities need to be nurtured properly so that students have the willandabilityto beinvolved withbasketballextracurricularactivities
