This research is motivated by the low practice of Pancasila points in everyday life. The purpose of this research was to analyze the text of short stories in grade 5 elementary school thematic students' books in containing Pancasila points, and analyze the suitability of the contents of short story texts in grade 5 elementary school thematic students' books with the Basic Competence (KD) of PPKn in practicing the points of Pancasila. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis research method. Based on the results of research, it was found that the text of short stories in the thematic books of 5th grade elementary school students already contained Pancasila points, of the 24 stories contained 40 of 45 Pancasila points of Pancasila practice points had been included in the story text that is in learning that contains the Basic Competence (KD) of PPKn, but the distribution is not evenly distributed. The practice points of the Divine Precepts appeared 43 times, of the Humanity Precepts appeared 106 times, of the Unity Precepts appeared 96 times, of the People's Precepts appeared 64 times and of the Justice Precepts appeared 106 times. The suitability between the short story texts in the thematic 5th grade students' books with the material on the Basic Competence (KD) of PPKn in the practice of the points of Pancasila practice is appropriate. The material is Pancasila Values, Rights, Obligations and Responsibilities as well as the Benefits of Unity
