Multicultural education among the students of Junior High School 7 SATAP KENDAWANG is of low quality because there are many differences between cultures. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the importance of multicultural and learning multicultural education based on local wisdom. The research approach used is qualitative by conducting a literature review. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The instrument in this study was a written interview that was shared with several students. The number of participants in this study was 30 students. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that all forms of differences found in Indonesia, don"™t become something dangerous if only multicultural education based on local wisdom is always delivered in formal, nonformal, and informal education. Teachers have a ride as a learning infrastructure to design a learning process that integrates multicultural education. To provide understanding for the community in general related to the importance of maintaining equity, diversity, and local wisdom values is to apply multicultural education based on local wisdom from an early age to students as the next generation.
