This study aims to describe the use of the demonstration method and the results of its use to improve student learning outcomes for class VIII MTs At-Taqwa, Selimbau District, Kapuas Hulu Regency on the technical material of playing musical instruments in the tar area. The method used in this research is descriptive in the form of classroom action research and a qualitative research approach. Research data were collected through observation techniques, skill performance tests, and documentation. The data collection tools in this study were the researcher as the main instrument, observation sheets, skill performance tests, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data in this study was carried out by triangulation techniques and increasing persistence. Data analysis was carried out in the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results show that the use of the demonstration method makes it easier for teachers to teach the technical material for playing musical instruments in the tar area, this can be seen in students who are easier to control during learning, and teachers are easier to manage to learn time and students are easier to understand the material presented by the teacher so that students' grades meet minimum completeness criteria with a completeness index of 100%. The results of this study are expected to be useful for researchers, readers, and can be used as a reference for future research.
