Abstract

This research was based on the low completeness of student learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the differences in learning outcomes and the increase in learning outcomes of students after being given learning by using the guided incuiry learning model on the mole concept material in class X SMAN 3 Pontianak. The form of research used was Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The research population is all students of class X based on predetermined characteristics. In taking the sample used purposive sampling technique. The research sample was students of class X IPA 4. Data collection techniques namely measurement techniques and direct communication with tools in the form of tests and unstructured. Difference in learning outcomes based on the analysis of Wilcoxon test data obtained Asymp Sig. equal to 0,000 which means there were differences in student learning outcomes after being given learning by using the guided inquiry learning model. Guided inquiry learning models provided an increase in student learning outcomes by 55.98% on the mole concept material in class X SMAN 3 Pontianak.
