PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS IPA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 Pontianak Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dan   bentuk penelitiannya adalah eksperimen semu.   Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,13sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 57,39. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan rumus polled varian,diperoleh sebesar8,5dan (α = 5% dan dk = 35 + 36 -2 = 69) sebesar 1,997. Karena  (8,5) >  (1,9967), dengan demikian maka Ha diterima. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil analisis tentang tingkat pengaruhpenggunaanmodel pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada penelitian ini, diperoleh ES = 1,94dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of using problem based learning model on the science literacy skills of the students in the Science Class of 5^th grade in Elementary School 18 West Pontianak. This research used experimental methods, and the form of the research was quasi-experimental. Based on the results of data analysis, the average post-test score obtained in experimental class was 78,13 while the control class was 57,39. The results of hypothesis test using t test with polled variant formula, obtained that tcount is 8,5 and ttable (α = 5% dan dk = 35 + 36 -2 = 69) is 1,997. Because the t_count (8,5) > t_tabel (1,997), therefore the Ha accepted. Then, based on the analysis result about the level of influence of using problem based learning in this research, ES that obtained is 1,94 which is high category.
