EFEKTIVITAS MODEL TALKING STICK DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this study is whether the application of learning models talking stick is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Economics subjects in high school social studies class X1 Midshipman Earth Equator ? The method used is descriptive , quantitative shaped subjects were students of class XI IPS . Techniques and tools of data collection using the direct communication techniques , direct observation techniques , documentary studies . From the research results showed that the average student learning outcomes XI IPS after application of conventional learning model is 5.57 with an average score of 25 , the average student learning outcomes after implementing the learning model of the talking stick is 7.26 with average The average score of 30.28 . Thus , it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effectiveness of the independent variable ( X ) on the dependent variable ( Y ) or use the talking stick models of the learning outcomes of students of class XI SMA Taruna Earth Equator.

Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan model pembelajaran talking stick efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas X1 IPS di SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, berbentuk kuantitatif Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik komunikasi langsung, teknik observasi langsung, studi dokumenter. Dari hasil penelitian Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS   setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional adalah 5,57 dengan rata-rata skor 25, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran talking stick adalah 7,26 dengan rata-rata skor 30,28. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektifitas yang positif dan signifikan variabel bebas (X) terhadap variabel   terikat (Y) atau penggunaan model talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa.
