Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of circuit weight training on body weight under fasting conditions. The study gave treatment in the form of 10 station circuit training for 12 meetings with an intensity of 70% while fasting. The research method uses a quantitative approach through experimentation where the research design or design is the one group pretest-posttest design. In this study, perposive sampling technique was used in determining the sample with the following criteria: Ages 17-25 years, with fasting conditions, male and female, were willing to be samples, so that 10 students of Sports Coaching Education were obtained. The instrument used to measure body weight is a weighing instrument in kilograms. Data analysis was obtained through the SPSS version 21 program. The results showed that the average initial test was 57.23 and the average final test was 56.25 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 so that circuit training in fasting conditions had a significant effect. significant effect on weight loss. Thus, circuit training weight training in fasting conditions is effective for weight loss.
