This study aims to describe the factors that play a role in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak using a quantitative approach and the research form is a survey. The data source is class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that the factors that played a role in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic class VIII were in the "good" category, which means that class VIII students could maximize online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, it includes: (1) the role of students in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is in the "good" category with a percentage result of 78%, (2) the role of teachers in the field of study in helping online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the " good" with a percentage result of 84%, (3) the role of parents in helping their children during online learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic is in the "good" category with a percentage result of 78%, (4) the role of BK teachers in providing guidance and counseling services online counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic is in the "enough" category with a percentage yield of 67%. Suggestions for BK teachers are the need to provide responsive services such as individual counseling and online group counseling and responsive services such as collaboration with subject teachers or students' parents.
