The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has resulted in changes in the implementation of the learning process in schools. To make learning more effective during the pandemic, SDN 36 South Pontianak implemented offline learning by limiting the number of students attending and then divided into 2 sessions, reducing the time of the learning process in class and implementing health protocols. The purpose of this study was to describe the thematic learning process offline during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 36 South Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative type. The data were analyzed based on data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that the thematic learning process at SDN 36 South Pontianak which was carried out offline was good in terms of planning for learning and implementing the learning process. In offline learning there are 2 components, namely the learning planning carried out by the teacher and the implementation of the learning process in the classroom, each with its own steps. The planning carried out by the teacher starts from making annual programs and semester programs, reviewing the syllabus and compiling/developing lesson plans by conditioning the Covid-19 pandemic period. The implementation of the learning process in the classroom has 3 steps of activities, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The three activities are arranged into one in a learning activity and cannot be separated from one another.
