This research is motivated by problems related to learning the art of music in the material of musical notes in class X science at SMAS Harapan Bangsa Samalantan. These problems can be solved with Maestro-Music Composer which is a music notator software. This media is able to actualize the elements of musical notes in the form of audio and visual so that it can help the learning process and improve student learning outcomes in learning the art of music on the material of musical notes. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class X science at SMAS Harapan Bangsa Samalantan. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the use of Maestro-Music Composer media in learning the art of music on musical notes material in cycle 1 the average value of students was 52, in cycle 2 it increased to 76.9. So it can be concluded that the use of Maestro-Music Composer media in learning the art of music on musical notes material can improve student learning outcomes.)
