Abstract

This study aims to increase the reader"™s understanding of the position of women, the profeminist form, and the counterfeminist form in the novel Ibu, Nikahkan Aku dengan Dia by Indra Candra. The theory used in this study is feminism. This research uses a descriptive method, with a qualitative research form. The data source in this study is the novel Ibu, Nikahkan Aku dengan Dia by Indra Candra. The data collection technique in this research is a documentary study technique. The data in this study are in the form ofquotesfrom words, phrases,sentencesthat indicate the position of
women, profeminist forms, and counterfeminist forms. The implementation plan for learning the results of this research is combined with learning Indonesian in class XII at the high school level in the 2013 curriculum with KD 3.1 understanding the structure and rules of novel texts both verbally and in writing and KD 4.1
interpreting the meaning of novel texts both orally and in writing.
