METODE EDUTAINMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA PADA SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara melalui penggunaan metode edutainment pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Sungai Pinyuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Sungai Pinyuh   sebanyak 11 orang. Peneliti menggunakan teknik komunikasi langsung, teknik observasi langsung, dan teknik dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada siklus ke II dalam aspek ucapan, tampak adanya peningkatan dari siklus I yang mencapai rata-rata 62,73% menjadi 72,73%. Peningkatan kemampuan intonasi terlihat dari pencapaian pada siklus I sebesar 65,45% meningkat menjadi 71,82%. Sementara itu, peningkatan kemampuan diksi juga terjadi, dari sebesar 63,64% pada siklus I menjadi 70,91% pada siklus II. Sedangkan pada aspek kelancaran, dari 64,55% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 75,45%. Dari keempat aspek tersebut, maka secara umum rata-rata kemampuan berbicara siswa dari sebesar 64,09% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 72,73% pada siklus II.

Abstract: This study aims to improve speaking skills through the use of edutainment method in grade IV Elementary School 10 Sungai Pinyuh. The method used is descriptive method to form action research. Class IV students study the subject Elementary School 10 Sungai Pinyuh as many as 11 people. Researchers using the technique of direct communication, direct observation techniques, and documentary techniques. Data collection tool used in this study is the observation sheet. The results showed in the second cycle to the aspects of speech, it appears an increase from the first cycle at an average of 62.73% to 72.73%. Increased capability of achieving the intonation seen in the first cycle of 65.45% increased to 71.82%. Meanwhile, an increase in the ability of diction also occur, at 63.64% of the first cycle to 70.91% in the second cycle. While on the smooth aspect, from 64.55 % in the first cycle increased to 75.45%. From four aspects, the general average of the students' speaking ability by 64.09% in the first cycle increased to 72.73% in the second cycle. .
