ANALISIS GAYA BAHASA PADA LIRIK LAGU AMIGDALA DALAM ALBUM BALADA PUAN

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the analysis of language style in the lyrics of the song Amigdala in the Balada Puan album. This research is qualitative research with descriptive method. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data source for this research is the lyrics of the song Amigdala in the Balada Puan album with data in the form of words, phrases, sentences that contain figurative language in the lyrics of the song Amigdala in the Balada Puan album. Data collection techniques using documentary study techniques. The data validity testing technique was carried out by observing persistence, triangulation, and referential adequacy. The result of this research is that the researcher found four styles of language used in the lyrics of the song Amigdala on the Balada Puan album. The figurative language in question is metaphor, personification, simile, and paradox which are found in all the songs of the Amigdala and the most widely used is metaphorical figurative language. Then, the researcher found two types of meaning found in the lyrics of the song Amigdala in the Balada Puan album. The first meaning is lexical meaning and the second meaning is figurative meaning which involves comparisons, similes, or the use of symbols to express ideas, feelings, or ideas more effectively.
