PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA MELODI SEDERHANA DENGAN NOTASI BALOK MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA REKORDER SOPRAN

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan minat keterampilan membaca melodi sederhana notasi balok pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Sambas.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, jenis penelitiannya tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 22 orang. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dan tes pengetahuan. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap, yakni tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.Dari hasil tes unjuk kerja siswa didapatkan data pada siklus I rata-rata nilai kelas hanya 61,64 dengan ketuntasan 50%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi79,83 dengan ketuntasan 90,91%. Dari hasil tes tertulis didapatkan data pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 73,23 dengan ketuntasan hanya 59,10%, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,10 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 86,36%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media rekorder dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam membaca melodi sederhana dengan notasi balok pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Sambas.

Abstract :The purpose of this study was to describe the increased interest in learning to read simple melodic notation in the eighth grade B students of SMP Negeri 4 Sambas. The method used in this research is descriptive research type of class action. The subjects were students of class VIII B which was 22 people. The technique used is direct observation by means of collecting teacher data observation sheets, test the performance of the data collection tool in the form of sheet point of work, and cognitive tests with a data collection tool in the form of a test sheet. The study, carried out in 3 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. From the test results of student performance data obtained in the first cycle the average value of 61.64 with a completeness grade only 50%, in the second cycle increased to 79.83 by 90.91% completeness. From the results of the written test data obtained in the first cycle average value of 73.23 with a grade of completeness is only 59.10%, and the second cycle increased to 79.10 by 86.36% to reach completeness. Thus concluded that by using media recorder can improve students' skills in reading simple melodies with a notation in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 B Sambas.
