This development research was conducted to develop a linear motion kinematics learning module based on differentiation learning. So this research requires an analysis of the needs of teachers and students. The research data collection instruments were teacher interview sheets, teacher needs analysis questionnaires, student needs analysis questionnaires, and initial assessments. The teaching module developed contain learning objectives, learning steps, initial assessment, final assessment, and teaching media/materials. Needs analysis was carried out to determine the readiness of educators in implementing the Merdeka curriculum, obstacles in compiling teaching module, implementing differentiated learning, and students' understanding of straight motion kinematics material. The results of the analysis of the needs of 15 students in class XI Physics 2 showed that 73.3% of students needed teaching materials for learning physics, 68% of students needed the application of differentiation learning, and 46.7% still did not understand the kinematics of straight motion. Based on the result of initial assessment, the percentage of student"™s knowledge is 58.30% (vector), 79.10% (equation of a straight line), 68.75% (magnitude and units), 83.8% (quadratic equation), and 43.75% (comparison) . The results of the teacher needs questionnaire also showed 63.5% of the obstacles when creating teaching module. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a linear motion kinematics learning module based on differentiation learning for class XI of the Merdeka curriculum.Downloads
