PERWATAKAN TOKOH DALAM NOVEL HARI-HARI YANG MENCURIGAKAN KARYA DEA ANUGRAH

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characters and character development in the novel Hari-Hari Yang Mencurigakan based on Skinner's behavioral psychology approach. The method used in this research is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The data source in this research is the novel Hari-Hari Yang Mencurigakan by Dea Anugrah, with data in the form of quotations in the form of sentences, paragraphs, or dialogue in the novel. The data collection technique used is a documentary study with the researcher as a data collection tool. The validity of the data that has been collected is tested by diligent reading, the adequacy of references, and theoretical triangulation. Based on the results of data collection and analysis, there are several character traits in the novel Hari-Hari Yang Mencurigakan that can be seen in the behavior, thoughts, and dialogue between the characters. Based on the characters that have been analyzed, it is also found that several characters in the novel Hari-Hari Yang Mencurigakan develop their character in both positive and negative directions. This research is related to the 2013 curriculum for the subject of Indonesian Language and Literature at the SMA level, class XII, odd semester.
