PENGARUH METODE PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP DRIBBLING BOLA BASKET SISWA KELAS VIIIA SMPN 1 PONTIANAK

Abstrak: Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh metode problem solvingterhadap dribbling bola basket pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMPN 1 Pontianak. Tujuan
penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap dribbling
basket siswa kelas VIIIA SMPN 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian adalah metode
eksperimen dengan bentuk pre-experimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Pontianak berjumlah 284 siswa. Dalam penelitian
ini melakukan teknik sampling purposive yaitu mengambil seluruh siswa-siswi kelas
VIII A yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Analisis data dengan analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian
diperoleh rata-rata pretest 10,97 dan rata-rata posttest 15,08 (meningkat sebesar 4,11).
analisis uji pengaruh nilai ttest : 29 lebih besar dari nilai ttabel = 2,032, artinya hipotesis
diterima berarti terdapat pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap dribbling basket
pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMPN 1 Pontianak. Persentase peningkatan sebesar 37,74%.
Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode problem solving memiliki
pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan dribbling basket.

Abstract: The research problem is how to influence the method of problem solving to
dribbling a basketball in grade VIIIA SMPN1 Pontianak. The purpose of research to
determine the effect of problem solving method to basketball dribbling VIIIA grade
students SMPN1 Pontianak. The research method is a method of experimentation with
form pre-experimental design. The population in this study were students of class VIII
in SMPN1 Pontianak totaled 284 students. In this study do purposive sampling
technique that is taking all students of class VIII A, amounting to 35 students. analysis
of data by t-test analysis. The results obtained by the average pretest average 10.97
and 15.08 posttest (an increase of 4.11). test analysis of the influence of the value ttest:
29 is greater than the value table = 2.032, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted
means there is a method of problem solving influence on dribbling a basketball in
grade VIIIA SMPN1 Pontianak. The percentage increase of 37.74%. Based on these
results it can be concluded that the method of problem solving has a positive influence
on the improvement of dribbling a basketball.
