MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TEKNIK SYMPOSIUM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA DI SD

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the activitiy of learners in learning Indonesian using the model of cooperative learning through symposium techniques to the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 08 Sepangah. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research applied classroom action research (CAR) approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 08 Sepangah, the research subject is the fourth grade students which is amount 26 students. The results obtained from the study that the model of cooperative learning through Symposium technique can improve the activity of learners. It showed by the average percentage of physical activity at baseline is 97.75 %, there is a difference of 90,93 %. For mental activity at baseline is 20.45 %, up to the second cycle was 95.5 %, there is a difference of 75.05 %. For emotional activity at baseline is 4.55 % up to the second cycle is 93.25 %, there is a difference of 88.7 %.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik dengan menggunakan model kooperatif teknik symposium dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN 08 Sepangah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).   Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 08 sepangah, dengan subjek peneliti adalah peserta didik kelas IV dengan jumlah anak 26 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa model kooperatif teknik Symposium dapat meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik. Dibuktikan dengan rata-rata persentase aktivitas fisik pada base line yaitu 97,75%, terdapat selisih 90, 93%. Untuk aktivitas mental pada base line yaitu 20,45%, sampai ke siklus II adalah 95,5%, terdapat selisih 75,05%. Untuk aktivitas emosional pada base line adalah 4,55% kesiklus II yaitu 93,25%, terdapat selisih 88,7%.
