PENERAPAN MODEL PICTURE AND PICTURE PEMBELAJARAN IPA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KELAS IV SDN 04 KUBU

Abstract

Abstrak : Etalia Panggabean,  Penerapan Model Picture And Picture Pembelajaran IPA Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kelas IV SDN 04 Kubu.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa hal antara lain:

Aktivitas dan motivasi belajar siswa masih rendah, aktivitas dalam kelompok kurang optimal dalam kegiatan belajar siswa kurang merespon guru sehingga kurang fokus dalam pembelajaran, kemudian belum menyelesaikan tugas baik individu maupun kelompok sesuai alokasi waktu pembelajaran, kemudian kurangnya perhatian dan bimbingan dari orang tua dirumah.

Maka dari itu, masalah dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan dalam pertanyaan umum yaitu, apakah dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif model picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar  pada pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN 04 Kubu.

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan fakta yang objektif mengenai penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif model picture and picture untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar  siswa dalam memahami saling ketergantungan mahluk hidup dengan lingkungannya pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN 04 Kubu.

Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, maka model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model picture and picture, yaitu pembelajaran berkelompok dengan media gambar yang relevan dengan materi sebagai bahan untuk diskusi dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas. Sedangkan teknik dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dengan alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi bagi guru dan siswa serta tes akhir sebagai evaluasi bagi siswa.

Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan: sebelum menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model picture and picture nilai siswa khususnya mata pelajaran IPA masih belum mencapai KKM, setelah menggunakan pembeljaran kooperatif model picture and picture nilai siswa meningkat sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Saat menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model picture and picture ini siswa lebih fokus dalam belajar, karena materi yang diberikan disertai dengan menggunakan gambar-gambar sehingga dapat menarik minat siswa dalam belajar.

This research background by several things, among others:

Activities and student motivation is low, less than optimal activity in a group of students in learning activities less responsive teachers that are less focused on learning, and have not completed the task of both individuals and groups according to the allocation of instructional time, and the lack of attention and guidance from parents at home.

Therefore, in this study the problem formulated in the general question, namely, whether the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture can improve learning outcomes in learning science class IV SDN 04 Kubu.

The purpose of this study was to obtain objective facts concerning the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture to improve student learning outcomes in understanding the interdependence of living things with their environment in the fourth grade science subjects SDN 04 Kubu.

To achieve the above objectives, the model used in this study is the model picture and picture, the study groups with media images that are relevant to the material as the material for discussion with classroom action research approach. While the techniques and data collection tool used was observation techniques with a data collection tool such as observation sheets for teachers and students as well as evaluation of the final tests for students.

The results of this study concluded: before using cooperative learning model picture and picture grade science students in particular subjects yet to reach KKM, after using the model of cooperative pembeljaran picture and picture grade students increased as expected. When using cooperative learning model picture and picture these students focus more on learning, because the material provided along with using the pictures so that they can attract students' interest in learning.
