PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MEMFASILITASI KEMAMPUAN PROBLEM SOLVING SISWA

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) dengan pendekatan saintifik yang layak dan efektif dalam pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan problem solving siswa. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan diadaptasi dari Borg & Gall (1983) yang dimodifikasi menjadi lima tahap utama yaitu studi pendahuluan untuk mengumpulkan informasi, pengembangan produk awal, tahap validasi dan revisi, tahap uji coba dan revisi produk sampai diperoleh produk akhir berupa LKS dengan pendekatan saintifik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. LKS yang dihasilkan menyajikan materi melalui penerapan proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik yang dipadukan dengan tahapan dalam proses problem solving. Ditinjau dari syarat kelayakan LKS diperoleh rata-rata skor kelayakan sebesar 93,86 % dengan kategori sangat baik. LKS juga tergolong efektif digunakan karena memenuhi empat komponen efektif antara lain hasil tes kemampuan problem solving, aktivitas siswa, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dan respon siswa yang menunjukkan hasil sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS dengan pendekatan saintifik layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract : This research aims to generate student worksheet (LKS) with proper scientific approach (in terms of didactic requirements, construction and engineering) as well as effective in learning to facilitate the ability of solving   students' mathematical problem. Form of research is the research and development (R & D) with the development model adapted from Borg and Gall (1983) were modified into five main stages, namely a preliminary study to gather information, early product development, the validation and revision, the test phase and revision product until the final product is obtained in the form of worksheets with scientific approach. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. LKS generated in this study presents the material through the application of the learning process with a scientific approach combined with the stages in the process of solving the problem. Judging from LKS eligibility requirements obtained an average score of 93.86% with a feasibility excellent category. Additionally LKS relatively effectively used for meeting four effective components include problem solving ability test results, student activities, teacher's ability to manage learning and student responses showed very good results. It can be concluded that the LKS with proper scientific approach is decent and effective to used in the study.
